INSCRIPTIONS Osca Jets:

 

1. All the participants will have to hand over the director of the event the following documentation:

a).- Federal License of your Local or Nacional council in force, with coverage of liability insurance of, at least, 300.000€. It will be presented the Federal License and one photocopy of the insurance liability policy of such license. In case that coverage of the liability insurance does not reach this value, the pilot will need to show a private insurance supplementing it. b).- Pilots will have to be in possession of the qualifications expected under existing regulations so as to pilot the aircraft in question in the presence of public or, alternatively, they will be provided a certification issued by their Local Council Federation, justifying their suitability for public performance (it is enough to certificate that oneself has taken part in similar events recently).

c).- Suitabilty Certificate of the flying model for its use in public demonstrations, issued by the Sports Federation of the Local Council in question.

d).- UAS operator number

 

2. It is mandatory to use radio control equipment at 2,4 Ghz.

 

3. If any pilot or flying model can not prove the documentation requested in paragraphs, they will have to be MANDATORILY accredited by the Director of the Event.

 

4. In order to get The flying model approvals and the accreditations of the pilots will be able to go on Friday, October 3rd from 15:00 to 20:00 on the airfield.

4.1.- The accreditation of the flight model will consist in:

 

•Visual inspection of its main elements:

• Measurement scale o Weight

• Control transmissions

• Landing gear

• Moving surfaces

• Stiffness and structural strength.

•Inspection of the installation of electronics:

• Servos

• Wiring

• Batteries

• Electrical connections

​

•Engine :

• Start

• Vibrations

• Loss of fuel

• Emergency stop system

 

•Flight test

• Check pilot accreditation.

4.2.- Pilot accreditation will consist in:

 

•The start of the model:

• The safety of the operation.

• Dexterity

 

•Flight test:

• Taxiing down the runway from the boot area to the point of takeoff.

• Takeoff operation aligned with the runway.

• Traffic on the display area.

• Passing on a mid-height level.

• Landing operation aligned with the runway. 

• Taxiing of the flight model to the staging area.

• The stop of the engine.

• End of the test.

5. The Direction of the event reserves the right to modify the requirements for the accreditations of either the flight models or the pilots in order to increase the safety of the event.

6. The pilots and flight models which need to be accredited for the Osca Jets will have to notify it by the email: cerdanyajets@gmail.com

 

7. The deadline for the registration is September, 18th. Any inscription will not be accepted after this date.

 

8. Only flight models registered will be able to fly.
